Diary
I will be attending
this game. See you there ! ! !
Stadium
The Waldstadion,
home of Eintracht Frankfurt football
club, was built in 1925 and was site of
the first game in NFL Europe history when
the Galaxy hosted the London Monarchs on
23 March 1991. It was venue for one of
the most memorable matches in the history
of football's World Cup - in 1974 West
Germany beat Poland 1-0 during a downpour
to qualify for the final.
For the 2003 NFL Europe season,
capacity will be reduced because the stadium is
undergoing renovation in time for the 2006 FIFA World
Cup.
The Waldstadion
stands south of the city centre
approximately 2 miles / 3 km south of the
River Main. By rail use 'Sportfeld'
station on the local line between the
main railway station and the airport.
